James ‘Killer’ Miller

One of the darkest and most sadistic figures of the Old West was James “Killer” Miller, a paid assassin and gunslinger known to have killed at least 14 people, though legend has that number closer to 50. Also known as ‘Deacon Jim’ because he regularly went to church and did not smoke or drink, Miller openly stated that he would kill anyone for money. His rate reportedly somewhere ranged between $150 to $2,000 per kill. Miller’s murderous days came to an end when he was placed in jail in Oklahoma (for you guessed it, murder-killing the shit out of someone).

He was the Deputy U.S. Marshal Allen Augustus "Gus" Bobbitt of Ada, Oklahoma who killed him in ambush near his ranch for 1700 $.

A lynch mob stormed the jail, took Miller and hung him in a barn with another three.

William B. “Curly Bill” Brocius (or Brocious) (1845-1882) 

– An outlaw leader of the Clanton Gang of Arizona, Curly Bill was a vicious, drunken gunman, cattle rustler and murderer.

It is  said to have the ability to snuff out a candle by firing at it with his pistol and shooting coins from between people’s fingers

 In October of 1880, he shot Tombstone’s first marshal, Fred White when the marshal attempted to disarm him. Charged with the murder, Brocius was later acquitted by a jury as an accidental death.

In July of 1881, Curly Bill, along with Johnny Ringo, killed William and Isaac Haslett in Hauchita, New Mexico in revenge for the deaths of Clanton members Bill Leonard and Harry Head who had attempted to rob the Haslett brothers general store some weeks earlier. A few weeks later, Brocious led an ambush attacking a group of Mexicans in the San Luis Pass, killing six of them and torturing the remaining eight.

After the death of “Old Man” Newton Clanton in another ambush in Guadelupe Canyon in July, Curly Bill became the leader of the Clanton Gang. After the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in October, 1881, Brocius attempted to kill Virgil Earp and succeeded in assassinating Morgan Earp. Brother Wyatt, looking for revenge for Morgan’s killing, reportedly caught up with Brocius on March 24, 1882, and killed him with a double shotgun blast to the chest.

- Ένας αρχηγός παρανόμων της συμμορίας Clanton της Αριζόνα , ο Curly Bill ήταν ένας βίαιος,μέθυσος πιστολέρο,κλέφτης κοπαδιών και δολοφόνος. 

Λέγεται επίσης οτι ειχε την ίκανότητα να ανάψει ένα κερί πυροβολόντας το και να πυροβολεί νομίσματα μεταξύ των δακτύλων .

Τον Οκτώβριο του 1880, πυροβόλησε τον πρώτο Μάρσαλ του Tombstone , Fred White, όταν ο Μάρσαλ προσπάθησε να τον αφοπλίσει. Κατηγορήθηκε για τη δολοφονία,αλλά ο Brocius αθωώθηκε αργότερα από τον δικαστή ως ατύχημα.
